Double Winged Liner
Today I found something else I love about the line of work I've chosen to pursue. The makeup part is fabulous and, of course, is what got me started on this journey. But before today I haven't really thought of this aspect: making another girl feel beautiful. When I put a full face of makeup on I feel gorgeous and glamorous and 10 times more Davia than I usually am. It changes my mood, the way I look at myself in the mirror, the way I walk down the street. It gives me confidence. And today I helped give that feeling to another girl and knowing that I helped to make her feel that way is an indescribable pleasure. Needless to say, I really enjoyed working with this girl and the fact that she photographs beautifully was an added bonus.
The highlight of the look is the heavy winged liquid liner in black and another line, this time silver, on top of that. I wasn't planning on using any shadow at all but I used a matte dark brown from my Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette to add depth to her crease, a mate colour close to her skin shade on the lid and a slightly shimmery white to highlight her browbone.
On her lips I used a NYX Round Lipstick in The Shade Eros. This is a red with a lot of yellow undertones. I deepened the lip colour by lining with Jordana's Kohl Kajal Lipliner in Burnt Cherry and blending this out seamlessly. I also used CoverGirl's CG Smoothers Lip colour in the shade Smooth Sangria. This is a very deep brown with purplish-red undertones. I used this to darken the inner corners of her lips.
I've inserted some extra pictures to this post because I've run out of things to say and I can't not include them. :)
